This Privacy Policy explains how ClaimLogic ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you use our website and services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Account and contact information: email address used to receive your reports;
Professional role: the licensing category you select when placing an order (public adjuster, attorney, contractor, etc.);
Uploaded documents: engineer reports, insurance policies, and any additional documents you submit for analysis;
Payment information: handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe — ClaimLogic never sees or stores your full card number.

Information collected automatically

Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps);
Diagnostic information related to the Service (e.g., error reports).

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and improve the Service;
Process payments through Stripe;
Generate analysis output and deliver it via email through Resend;
Send transactional and service-related emails;
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms;
Comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Processing

To generate analysis output, ClaimLogic transmits the content of your uploaded documents to Anthropic, PBC, the operator of the Claude AI model used by the Service. Anthropic processes this content solely to generate the requested analysis. Per Anthropic's policy, API content is not used to train its models.

If you upload documents containing sensitive personal information (e.g., Social Security numbers, medical records), you do so at your own risk. We recommend redacting such information before upload.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party processors to operate the Service:

Stripe — payment processing;
Anthropic — AI analysis;
Resend — email delivery;
Render — hosting and infrastructure;
Google Workspace — business email and account management.

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices. By using the Service, you agree to the processing of your information by these providers as described.

5. Data Retention

Uploaded documents are processed in memory during analysis and are not retained on our servers after the analysis is complete. Analysis output may be temporarily cached in your browser session and stored in the email you receive. We retain transactional records (orders, payments) as required by law.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

The third-party processors identified above, strictly to provide the Service;
Law enforcement or regulators where required by law;
Parties involved in a business transfer (e.g., merger, acquisition), subject to confidentiality obligations.

7. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption in transit. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@claim-logic.com.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International Users

ClaimLogic is based in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance.
